A Story That Matters to Us

A while back, I worked with a woman who was going through something pretty tough. She had hired someone to build a fence for her yard, but when the wind kicked up, the whole thing came down. Turns out, the guy hadn’t followed the proper codes, so her fence wasn’t built to last.

For her, it wasn’t just about a fence—it was her sense of security. She lived alone with just her dogs, and that fence was what allowed her to let them outside safely, without worrying about anyone or anything getting in. When it collapsed, I could see how much it shook her.

I knew I had to help. I worked with her to salvage whatever materials we could, and together we rebuilt that fence—stronger, safer, and ready to give her the peace of mind she deserved.
